I'm an aspiring writer who has had seven short works published.
My zombie parody of The Night before Christmas called The Night
of the Zombies and my short story Dreams appeared in the Dec. 07
issue of Horror Authors United. My short stories Until Death Do Us
Part and First Date appeared in the Jan. 08 issue of Horror Authors
United. My short story Fountain of Youth appeared in the Fourth
Darnkened Horizons Anthology. My stories A Day Long
Remembered and The Last Contestant Standing were published by
Word Weavers in their anthology Of Shadow and Substance. If
anyone is interested in ordering any of them, please see the links
in my blogs. As of now, I've got at least 3 more short stories slated
to be published by the end of 2008. I also write fan fiction and have
three stories at the following address if you are interested in
checking them out http://www.fanfiction.net/u/409230/. I'm also
doing some work for an indie film maker called Damascus Road
Productions. For them I'm one of three writers on their next movie, I
will be novelizing their last movie (which I didn't have anything to
do with writing the screenplay for) and the movie that we are
writing now. The owner of Damascus Road plans on having them
published through a print on demand publisher. I'm also developing
a web series for them called Night Walkers. It will be a drama
about a group of vampires and I'm hoping to make it a happy mix
between Dark Shadows and the Sopranos. So hopefully by the end
of 2008 I'll not only have more short stories published but two
novels, a movie and a successful web series. In addition to all of
this, I'm still going to focus on my goal of becoming a full time
writer and keep seeing an agent to represent the novel that I've
written (not through Damascus Road) and keep trying to find homes
in magazines and anthologies for my short stories.
