


David E. Greske was born in
raised in rural Wisconsin.
When he wasn’t milking the
cows or feeding the chicken,
he spent his youth writing
short stories and watching
the creature features on
Saturday afternoons. In high
school he was a member of
the Writer’s Club that put out
a yearly publication of
student works. He once
wrote a screenplay as a
class project for one of his
English courses. The
screenplay was later filmed
for another class’ final
project. After high school he
attended the University at
River Falls, Wisconsin and
was involved with the
campus newspaper and a
reqular contributor to the
university’s literary
magazine.
His first novel, Anathema,
was published in 2003 and is
currently available at www.
amazon.com or any of the
other on-line bookstores. In
December of 2004, "Making
Make-believe Believable" an
article that expessed his
opinion about the importance
of creating realistic settings
in an unrealistic world,
appeared in the on-line
magazine, Wicked Karnival.

"The Cleansing" appeared in
issue 4 of Wicked Karnival.
In 2005 his short story
"Litterbug" appeared in Trip
the Light Horrific.
"Everlasting Love," a story
of twisted romance, will
debut in Bleed My Heart
Romantic in early 2006. Both
anthologies will be edited by
Nancy A. Jackson and
published by RAGEmachine
Books. In the summer of
2006, his short story, "The
House Without Windows"
will debut in the Raw Meat
anthology to be published by
Sideshow Publications.
Night Whispers, his next
novel will be published by
Whiskey Creek Press (www.
whiskeycreekpress.com) in
November of 2006.
Mr. Greske is a member of
the HWA, Mighty Write
Literary Guild, EPIC and
currently makes his home in
Minneapolis, MN.
