| Submission Guidelines for work being submitted to The Southern Grave Diggers Magazine: |
1. Short story submissions can be no longer than 5,000 words. 12 pt. Times
New Roman font. Double spaced. Sent to us by email in word doc. Format.
Just because a story is a little over 5,000 words it will not automatically be
kicked out.
2. Work must be original.
3. If your short story is already sent for publishing with another magazine
please let us know and if it goes into print before we have time to respond to
you please contact us.
4. Your submission must be proof read. To many grammatical errors will
keep your story from going into print.
5. You must submit a cover sheet with your work including contact info.

| Submission guidelines for submitting poetry to The Southern Grave Diggers Magazine: Submission guidelines are the same as submitting a short story to us. You can submit multiple dark poems to us and we will pick from the best of them to print. Submission guidelines for submitting artwork to The Southern Grave Diggers Magazine: 1. Artwork submission must be sent to the art department at Southern Grave Diggers Magazine for approval. Artwork must be original artwork. Your works can be in either full color or black and white. Also submitting dark photography to be published must be in black and white. 2. Artwork must be sent in either jpg format or photoshop format. No bitmap or gif. Submissions Our goal at The Southern Grave Diggers Magazine is to get as many unpublished horror, thriller and suspense writers published as we can. We will be selecting 5 to 6 new writers each issue to go into print. We also will be selecting 2 to 3 dark poets to publish each issue. Also each issue will contain a section dedicated to horror art. Horror art published will depend on size. Payment method for submissions Payment for the first issue we can only offer a contributor copy of the issue and satisfaction to you that you have been published.
